Virtual Wellness Sessions and Virtual New Patient Intakes
are available on Tuesdays (other days available upon request).

Nurturing Spirit Acupuncture has moved to
a new online scheduling system.

If you were an established patient prior to April 8, 2026, please follow this link to register your account and set a password for the new system. This will allow you to schedule new appointments, view and cancel or reschedule your upcoming appointments, and access the patient portal.

Instructions for Booking An Appointment

For New Patient Appointments:

1) Click the "Book Now" button on this page.

2) First, click the “Book” button next to 1 Hour New Patient Virtual Intake from the Service menu.

3) Select a date, then a time.

4) Under the Sign In prompt, click “Create new account.”

5) Fill out the New Registration form and click “Submit.”

6) Click “Book My Visit” to complete the booking.

7) Schedule your first office visit appointment for anytime AFTER the date of the New Patient Virtual Intake. To do this, return to the Schedule tab, click “Book” next to 1 Hour New Patient Office Visit and follow the same steps as above.

For Follow-Up Visits:

1) Click the "Book Now" button on this page.

2) Click the “Book” button next to 1 Hour Follow-Up Acupuncture Office Visit from the Service menu.

3) Select a date, then a time.

4) If not already signed in, enter your email and password.

5) Click “Book My Visit” to complete the booking.

I am continuing to offer Virtual Wellness Sessions.

Virtual wellness session are held online via secure video call. They are a wonderful opportunity for you to learn custom-curated self-care techniques to reduce stress, manage health issues, and cultivate a greater sense of wellbeing. Please note that, as I am licensed in Washington, DC and Virginia, I can only conduct virtual sessions with patients in those two localities.

Patient Portal

Free Phone Consultations

are 20 minute phone conversations that give you the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about how acupuncture can address your particular condition and help you reach your personal health goals.

New patient appointments 

are made up of a 60 minute virtual new patient intake conversation followed by a 60 minute office visit. The intake is done via telemedicine and involves a thorough discussion of your health history and current health challenges and goals. You will receive your first acupuncture treatment during the in-person office visit.

Follow-up appointments 

are 60 minutes in length and are held in person in my office. They include time for you to update me on your current health situation before receiving your acupuncture treatment.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is reserved expressly for you. If you need to cancel your appointment, please give at least 24 hours notice so that others needing treatment may have an opportunity to take your appointment time.

Cancellations less than 24 hours before the start time of the appointment will incur a fee for the full cost of the appointment.

Payment Policy

Unless you request to pay in person at the time of your session, I will send you an invoice via email. All virtual sessions will be billed via email invoice. When you open the invoice email, you will be prompted to pay online with your credit card.

I am not in-network with any insurance providers and make no claims or guarantees about what coverage, if any, your insurance policy may offer for my services. Patients are responsible for paying in full at the time of service.

If your health insurance policy offers any coverage of out-of-network acupuncture services, I can provide you with an itemized receipt to submit via their out-of-network claims process. Reimbursement, if any is approved, would be sent directly from your insurance company to you.
